Press Release – 6-20-02 re: Second Charity Dinner

"Educate The Children"'s second annual charitable fund raiser "Taste Of Italy" held in April this year, proved enjoyable and was a successful evening.  The event held at Magianno's Little Italy in Schaumburg was very well attended. The aria performance by Tina Beverly and Scott Bosier was a highlight for the evening.

"Educate The Children" is made of a group of volunteers from local businesses and organizations that commit their time to partner with education centers locally and around the world, to help spread education where most needed, and to collectively build a foundation for the development and enrichment of human kind for a better society, a better community and a better world.

"Educate The Children" studies and evaluates projects that deal with children deprived of primary education.  There are numerous children that live in areas affected by poverty, poor health, poor living conditions and crime.  These children's only concern is survival.  Because of the poor conditions, there are also very few organizations and teachers willing to work in those areas.

"Educate The Children"'s  goal is to minimize the burden of identified volunteer organizations already committed to do the work in these mentioned areas, by providing funds and resources to deliver the education to the children in need.  So far, our organization has been involved in the building of a school in a desert in India, the purchase of equipment for hearing impaired children and the collection of used school supplies for a school in Africa.  We are currently collecting funds to help rebuild schools damaged by the earthquake in India.

Donations in any amount are needed and appreciated..  Contributions are accepted at "Educate The Children", 265 North Bay Court, Barrington, Illinois 60010.  All contributions are tax deductible.  "Educate The Children" is an approved 501 C3 organization.
